Video for Whixall Moss to the middle of nowhere:
After a fun reverse and a 360 spin to get back off the Prees branch back onto the main Llangollen canal we were off. It was a strange day in a way as a boating day with no locks or bridges to contend with.
Had the lovely sensation of steering on the canal whilst going past a lake today. Looked so lovely so we’re planning an overnight there on the way back. Might try and fit in some lake shore yoga I think. A little easy tunnel brought us back out into the sunshine. A short stop in Ellesmere, mainly as there is a big Tesco right next to the canal so it was a supplies shop and super handy to be able to get the trolley down to the boat.
We found a lovely sunny spot and decided that would do for today!
